Providing community and social services through genuine concern and compassionate care.
Alpha & Omega Community Outreach Center, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) social services organization. Its purpose is to fulfill a growing need for poverty alleviation and increased socio-economic stability among low-income individuals and families of underserved communities within the Jackson, MS, metropolitan area.
Our mission is to provide a holistic approach (including physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual) to combating poverty and its debilitating consequences, such as food deprivation and homelessness, while simultaneously empowering individuals, families, and communities through the implementation of educational and other viable social service programs, evidence-based research, and increased public policy awareness.
OUR VISION
We envision stronger communities, with residents stabilized to the point of holistically rising above the effects of poverty and other social, economic, and spiritual barriers.
